# DUKAAN — 90-Second Teaser
### Shot list + VO/text · cut to the title sting (sting.mp3)

Format: built to be cut THREE ways from the same assets — 90s pitch version, 60s YouTube pre-roll, 15s vertical (Instagram/Shorts). Timecodes below = the 90s master.

| # | Time | Picture | Sound / Text |
|---|------|---------|--------------|
| 1 | 0:00–0:04 | Black. A thumb hovers over a phone. The tweet, half-typed: *"…our AI bot now handles it. Honestly — better."* Cursor blinks on **better.** | Silence except a kettle, distant phones. One lone tabla *thud.* |
| 2 | 0:04–0:07 | Thumb presses POST. | The obscene little *whoosh.* Sound drops out. |
| 3 | 0:07–0:12 | Twenty-three monitors. Red banners slide across, one by one: **ACCESS REVOKED.** Faces look up. | Tabla heartbeat begins, slow. A folk flute, far away. |
| 4 | 0:12–0:16 | Hard cut. 3:14 AM clock, red glow. A phone *screams* on a wooden table. Caller ID: **SUUMIT.** | Phone buzz. *"Subhash! Uth! Sab bandh ho gaya hai!"* |
| 5 | 0:16–0:22 | Terminal. `ssh root@dukaan.app`. The cursor blinks… blinks… blinks. | Each blink ticks. Heartbeat tightening under it. |
| 6 | 0:22–0:26 | `htop` fills the screen. PUSH IN on Subhash's face washing **red.** A sea of red bars at 100%. | A low sub-bass *braam* swells. |
| 7 | 0:26–0:30 | Quick whip-montage: a Bihar village, a sewing machine, a mother's hands. A crush of bodies in a Virar local. A young Subhash, an outsider in a room of engineers. | Flute theme rises over the bass. |
| 8 | 0:30–0:36 | A Mumbai coffee shop, 2014. Two strangers shake hands — the hacker and the hustler. The frame holds on the handshake a beat too long. | VO (Suumit, low, magnetic): *"We can't out-feature them. But we can be faster than anyone on earth."* |
| 9 | 0:36–0:44 | COVID. Shutters slam down across a market street. Then — a phone. A shopkeeper photographs a packet of daal. A store link appears. A WhatsApp *ping.* Then a hundred pings. Then a thousand. | Pings multiply into a swarm. A counter spins: **2,700,000 merchants.** |
| 10 | 0:44–0:52 | The Shark Tank night. A Grafana graph. A green line goes vertical — a wall. A room of engineers freezes. | A senior engineer, hushed: *"The math doesn't add up. How is it not melting?"* Bass builds. |
| 11 | 0:52–0:58 | Smash back to the firing floor. Priya's dark screen. The silhouette in the glass cabin, calm, sipping coffee. | Everything drops to near-silence. One tabla. |
| 12 | 0:58–1:04 | Subhash and Suumit, face to face now, across a desk. Not smiling. The friendship under pressure. | VO (Subhash, quiet): *"Pehle humein nikaala gaya tha."* *(They fired us, once.)* |
| 13 | 1:04–1:10 | Cut to the tweet, fully posted now, likes exploding: 40k… 80k… The word **better** burning in. | VO (Subhash): *"Ab hum nikaal rahe hain."* *(Now we're the ones firing.)* |
| 14 | 1:10–1:16 | Rapid red-screen flashes: `htop` red / faces / the handshake / the vertical graph / Priya looking up. Faster. Faster. | The full sting hits its rising tension — glitchy server-error textures tearing through. |
| 15 | 1:16–1:20 | Everything cuts to black on one **hard impact.** | Sting's final impact. Then dead silence. |
| 16 | 1:20–1:26 | Title slams on: server-LED green, a glitch flickering through. **DUKAAN.** | A single low drone holds. |
| 17 | 1:26–1:30 | Mono text under the title: `> hero or villain? you decide. india will argue.` Then a one-tap end card: *"Build your own store in 30 seconds →"* | Silence. One last tabla thud. Out. |

### The three cuts from this master
- **90s** — festival / pitch-room / press. The full arc.
- **60s** — drop shots 7 and 10, tighten the montage. YouTube pre-roll.
- **15s vertical** — shots 1–2 (the POST), shot 6 (the red face), shot 13 (the line), title. Built to stop a thumb. This is the one that travels.

### Production reality (Musk-mode honesty)
- This is fully shootable on a modest budget — one server-room location, one flat, one coffee shop, one market street, screen inserts. The expensive shots (Shark Tank crowd) can be implied with sound + a graph insert, not staged.
- The **sting.mp3** in this folder is the temp score — it's the actual rhythm the cut should follow. Swap for a licensed/original track before release; keep the structure (tabla → flute → braam → impact → silence).
- Don't shoot a frame until **life rights with Suumit Shah** are real. The teaser literally dramatizes his most controversial public act. Pre-clear it or it dies in legal.
